Course Overview
During this practical, hands-on workshop you will be guided through the process of making a variety of breads. Bread is a staple food in many countries around the world, and has ignited people's interest more than ever. Home-made bread offers a number of nutritional advantages over bought versions, but baking your own can seem daunting. This workshop will take you through the basic skills and show that making your own is not as daunting as it sounds. You will use a variety of flours, including gluten-free alternatives to the commonly used wheat flour. Tutor Details Frank Guinevan Frank is a qualified chef with many year’s experience in the catering industry. He specialises in food appreciation, cooking techniques and cooking demonstrations. He is currently teaching children and teenagers techniques and food appreciation, and is passionate about promoting home cooked foods as an alternative to highly processed commercially available products. |
