Course Overview
The purpose of this award is to enable the learner to acquire the knowledge, skill and competence to work independently and under supervision in a range of Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) settings and or to progress to higher education and training. This is a part time course completed over two years. Over the two years, 8 modules will be completed. There is four compulsory modules , communications, and one other elective along with work experience. During the course you will gain the skills, knowledge, and competence to work as a childcare professional within the childcare and early education sector. During the Autumn term, two of the four compulsory modules will be completed. Early Childhood Education and Play (5N1773) & Child Development (5N1764).
