Course Overview 

The Essential Bicycle Maintenance 6 week course is designed to provide students with the practical skills and knowledge needed to perform basic and intermediate bicycle repairs and maintenance. This course will cover essential topics such as:


- **Introduction to Bicycle Components:** Understanding the key parts of a bicycle and their functions.

- **Basic Repairs:** Fixing common issues like flat tires, broken chains, and brake adjustments.

- **Preventive Maintenance:** Regular upkeep to ensure bicycle longevity and optimal performance.

- **Tools and Techniques:** Using the right tools and techniques for effective maintenance.

- **Safety Checks:** Performing safety checks to ensure a safe and enjoyable riding experience.


This course is aimed at adult learners who are interested in gaining practical skills in bicycle maintenance. No prior experience is required, making it suitable for beginners as well as those looking to enhance their existing knowledge.

Each session will include both theoretical instruction and hands-on practice. Students will also receive a comprehensive list of additional useful resources

I have 6 years of experience in bicycle maintenance and repair, and I have successfully conducted workshops and training sessions for various groups, including community organizations and cycling enthusiasts Including Terence College. 

My approach is hands-on and student-centered, ensuring that all participants gain confidence in their maintenance skills.
