DIY at Home

Course Overview

Have you ever had a small job around the house you wish you had the confidence to tackle yourself? Have you always wanted to know the ins and outs of a combi drill?

This course aims to introduce students to basic DIY techniques and tools, material selections, and a few of the most common DIY jobs.

The course will cover:

• Essential tools and their use

• Drilling & measuring

• Tiling 

• The basics of plumbing, woodwork and electrical work.  

• Painting & decorating

• Wall repairs and wall fixings. 

There will be an opportunity for students to feedback what they would like covered towards the end of the course.
