Course Overview

Crochet is a very versatile, easy to master, and fashionable needle craft. Even those who have never crocheted before can quickly learn the basic stitches and patterns, and make everything from useful hats and scarves to colourful granny-square blankets and throws.

Crochet is much quicker than knitting and easier to pick up on the go. It's also a great craft for using up odd ends of wool and cotton thread, and patterns can easily be adapted to suit your tastes and needs.

During the ten week course you will learn single crochet stitch, half double crochet stitch, double crochet stitch, treble crochet stitch, increasing and decreasing and colour work. In the later weeks individuals will work on individual projects such as a beanie or a dish cloth.
