Course Overview
Amigurumi is the Japanese art of crocheting small, stuffed yarn creatures.
In this ten week course you will learn how to master the essential techniques of Amigurumi, including working in the round, shaping, and assembly.
Whether you're new to crochet or looking to build on existing skills, this course will help you create delightful handmade projects and gain the confidence to tackle your own designs.
Additional Information
Participants will need to bring a 2.5mm or 3mm crochet hook and cotton yarn (please don’t bring chenille yarn).
Tutor Details: Anthea Harton
With over 15 years of crochet experience, Anthea brings both skill and creativity to her teaching. She has been teaching crochet classes at the school for the past four years, helping students develop their techniques while creating a variety of projects, including bags, hats, and wearable accessories.
This September, she is excited to introduce students to the art of Amigurumi.
