Details:

Learn and try out these simple wellbeing practices in a friendly, supportive space of like-minded people with Tara and Jacqui.

Some of the practices will include:

*Breathwork with visualisation - breath is the source of life, bringing fresh energy into the issues and cells to nourish body, mind and the whole person. When we breathe out, accumulated stress and toxins are released. Controlled breathing through a stressful time is an effective way to let go of tension that can accumulate in the body. When combined with visualisation it is a powerful practice that helps focus the mind on healing images to bring about physiological changes in the body.

*Finger Holds to manage emotions - Emotions and feelings are like waves of energy that flow through the body and mind. Through each finger runs a channel or meridian of energy connected with an organ system and related emotions. With strong feelings, energy can become blocked or repressed resulting in pain or congestion in the body. Holding each finger and breathing deeply can bring emotional and physical release and healing. The finger holds are useful in daily life in challenging situations, times of anger or fear, anxiety, difficulty when sleeping to bring peace to both body and mind.

*Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT-Tapping) - developed by Dr. Gary Craig, it is very useful for unblocking strong emotions, fears, anxieties, emotional pain, anger, traumatic memories, phobias, addictions as well as alleviating body symptoms and pain. Tapping or pressing acupressure points connected with channels or meridians of energy can help move blocked energy in congested areas and promote the healthy flow of energy in the body and mind.

*The Holds / Acupressure Points - simple energy holds can be done on yourself or others for anxiety, emotional/physical pain, traumatic memories, anger/fear, insomnia and deep relaxation. Through the energy of our hands we have the power to bring peace and healing to body, mind and spirit.

*Tai Chi - this energy exercise using simple movements based on Tai Chi Chih, a simple form developed by Justin Stone to release stress, to open and balance the flow of energy.

*Pal Dan Gum - a series of ancient movements from China and Korea used for thousands of years to promote health, strength, longevity and spiritual awareness. The exercise releases tension and balances the energy( meridian) channels of the body. If practiced regularly it can purify and recharge the inner organs, improve blood circulation, and flexibility. *Courtesy of Dr.Pat Cane and Capacitar International www.capacitar.org
